In tune with Mother Nature

There is a lot to be said for this.

For many of us, we had gotten so lost in the fast pace of life, the grind and the constant on the go, we forgot how to appreciate the simple pleasures in life. Taking it right back to basics and learning how to stop and to be. These precious times allow for so many wonderful creations.

To be with ourselves. To relearn who we are.

We have spent all this time fighting, against the natural cycles of life, against ourselves, against each other. For a lot of it, we are trying to understand who we are. And instead of seeing the lessons, we fight against them. Trying to ‘fit in’ somewhere because we are constantly being fed to believe that happiness is achieved through exterior rather than learning to be happy within ourselves. Fed by negativity and fear, it can become very easy to live in an illusion and lose sight of what is real. So we naturally become drawn to fear, for it is almost perceived as safe. So you search and search trying to ‘find’ yourself yet those external sources don't provide and satisfy your needs. Because your needs are internal and for those to be met, you must meet yourself. To understand how you have got to where you are, to get to know who you are and what is right for you.

There are so many distractions out there, everything is geared towards taking us away from ourselves. That’s why this time can be seen as a blessing in some ways. To be able to slow down and allow some space to get to know who we are and what we are doing. The world needed it, a restructure, we needed it. We couldn't continue living the way we did. We were destroying ourselves, our children and the planet we live on.

Cycles gets repeated until we begin to become aware of the cycle and decide we want to work through it and change. Then the change comes in the form of taking action.

Being in tune and working with the cycles of mother nature does wonders. There is a reason we have seasons. The more we fight against and try to resist, the harder it gets. As soon as we learn to begin surrendering to holding on so tightly and start working on letting go, bit by bit, time over time, slowly we allow life to flow through us and naturally it begins to unfold.

When we want something so much in the exterior we can end up holding on to the idea and attaching ourselves to it. Beneath this, there is a light shining within as to where we feel a ‘lack of.’ This is actually where opportunity lies. This is where the real work can begin. I understand that when you suddenly get to that point of releasing the resistance, it can feel like your whole house has fallen down and crumbled. However on the flip side, this time you get to rebuild the house that's right for you. Brick by brick, just how you want it. Not how you have been told or led to believe it should be built. A new home made by you, just for you. And you get to live in it, making adjustments and changes to it when it's right for you. Now that sounds more like it.

When can I move in?!

Maybe I should be a sales person for house renovations?!

Amidst all this, the important thing to remember is that you all have your own timelines. No one is any further ahead or behind and this is something that I urge you to continuously bring yourself back to and remind yourself of. We are all facing our own situations daily and there is no right or wrong way, just the need for love and compassion towards ourselves and each other.

This is our hibernation season, to rest, recover and regroup. Allowing us the time to learn that bit deeper, a time to slowly create and allow ourselves to bloom in the spring.

Use this time for you. Listen in to what you feel in need of. But just think about hibernation and don't put so much pressure on yourself to do it all at once. Think baby steps. We have been very much going through one huge collective awakening and healing, which in turn is going to create more and more people to awaken, to start living a more conscious life, becoming more aware of not only themselves but the people and world around them.

That in itself gives me so much hope and joy for the future. It’s a case of living in the present moment. Take it day by day and remember Rome didn’t get built in a day. So allow the process and creations to unfold naturally and take the rest. I know it’s not easy but if we always knew the outcome, we would never try!

I know doing things differently is uncomfortable but this is where growth and chance can take place.

There is both light and darkness in this world and within us, we must learn to embrace all that we are.

Love yourself that little bit more and be kind always.

Much love xxx
